Editorial Policy Framework
The Editorial Policy Framework of the Journal of Technology Management and Innovation brings together the policies, statements and guidelines that govern the operation of the journal and establish the standards it upholds at every stage of the editorial process. Its purpose is to provide authors, reviewers, editors and readers with a clear and unified point of reference regarding the principles of quality, transparency and integrity that guide the publication.
The Framework encompasses the journal's focus and scope, its section policies, the peer review process, the open access policy, the publication frequency, digital archiving and preservation, publication ethics and the malpractice statement, the artificial intelligence use policy, the originality and similarity detection policy, the conflict of interest statement, the copyright and licensing policy, article processing charges and the privacy statement, among other elements.
Conceived as a normative body under continuous revision, the Framework introduces its components progressively and updates them on a regular basis, so as to reflect the evolution of sound editorial practice, the requirements of indexing bodies, and technological and regulatory developments in scholarly communication. In all cases, the current versions prevail over any prior reference.
